About the map

What is Nabky.com and who makes the map?

A community map of EV charging stations in Slovakia and around. Members of Tesla Club Slovakia have been building it since 2014; today it has 4 660 stations, 1 653 of them in Slovakia. The map is independent of the operators – nobody buys a position or a colour on it. About →

What do the pin colours mean?

The colour tells you what charging you will find: black ultra-fast DC (100 kW and more), red DC (around 50 kW), violet AC 22 kW, light blue AC 11 kW, green accommodation with overnight charging, white plain sockets. A yellow pin is a station under construction, grey is out of order. The mark inside the pin is the operator.

Where do the data come from and are they current?

From the community (anyone can add a station or suggest a fix) and from automatic weekly checks of the networks – Tesla Superchargers, IONITY, ZSE Drive, GreenWay and Lidl are compared with the official maps, price lists are checked every week. No warranty: check availability with the operator before a trip, and if you find an error, report it straight from the station page. What's new →

Can I see on the map whether a charger is free right now?

For ZSE Drive stations yes – the map takes occupancy from their network and the "Available" filter shows only stations with a free stall. Other operators do not provide live data yet; we will add them as soon as one makes the data available.

How do I plan a route with charging?

Press the "Route" button on the map, enter start and destination (and stops if you like) and the map computes the route and shows chargers along it. Logged-in users can save the route and get a link to pass on – it opens for people without an account too.

Adding and editing

How do I add a new station?

Right-click the map (long-press on a phone) where the station stands and fill in the form – name, operator, connectors and power, optionally a photo. Or use the Add station page. A map admin reviews the suggestion and after approval the station appears on the map; you get an e-mail. Add a station →

How do I report a change or a broken charger?

The station page has the buttons "Suggest an edit" (power, connectors, opening hours, price, position…) and "Report a problem" (charger not working, removed, relocated). Admins approve the edits; verified editors edit the map directly.

How do I add a photo of a station?

Use "Add photos" on the station page – members logged in with a TeslaClub.sk account add it directly, others through the suggestion form; it appears after approval. The most useful photo is the one that helps you find the charger – the entrance, the spot in the car park, the stall. The first photo of a station that has none earns more points.

A station has no connectors or amenities filled in – can I add them?

Yes, and it is the most valuable help: some stations lack connectors and power, most lack nearby amenities (toilets, food, shop, Wi-Fi…). Such a station page shows a prompt; just "Suggest an edit" and tick what is there.

How long does approval take?

Usually within a day. You get an e-mail about approval as well as rejection (with the reason). If nothing happens for longer, write in the forum.

Account and points

Do I need to register?

Not for browsing the map, planning a route or suggesting a station – a suggestion only needs an e-mail. You need to log in for photos, the "I charged here" check-in, points and saved routes. There is no separate Nabky registration: you log in with your teslaclub.sk forum name and password; the password is verified on the forum and never stored. Log in →

How do points work?

You get points for an approved contribution: new station 20, first photo of a station 10, further photo 5, confirmed problem 3, approved edit 2, "I charged here" check-in 1 (once a day per station). The leaderboard is monthly and the top three of every month stay on record; the all-time leaderboard is next to it. Leaderboard →

How do I see prices for my own plan?

In your profile pick the plan you have with each operator (for example registered user or a plan with a monthly fee). The station page then shows the price you will pay, not the unregistered price. My profile →

Prices and free charging

How much does charging an EV cost?

It depends on the operator, the power and the plan. The Charging prices page has a table of 8 operators with the price per kWh for AC 11 and 22 kW, DC 50 and 150 kW and ultra-fast charging, the cheapest operator without a monthly fee and answers to the price questions – AC vs DC, idle fee, whether a monthly plan pays off. Where can I charge for free?

The map has 62 stations free for everyone, mostly at shops, municipal offices and hotels; others are free for guests or customers. Turn them on with the "Free" filter on the map; the list by city is on a separate page. Free charging →

For websites, hotels and operators

Can I embed the map on my website?

Yes, free of charge via an iframe: the whole map, one operator only, free stations only or a single station. Hotels and guesthouses have a ready-made "Charging for guests" widget linking to their station. Widget and embedding the map →

I am an operator – how do I get my stations on the map?

Add the stations like anyone else, or send us a list (name, GPS, connectors and power) and we add them in one go. Best of all is sharing a data feed with us (OCPI or your own) – the stations then update themselves and we can show occupancy too. Get in touch through the forum. Tesla Club Slovakia →

Is the map available in English?

Yes – the SK/EN switch is in the header, or append ?lang=en to the address. Station names and community descriptions stay in their original language.

Can I use Nabky as an app on my phone?

Yes. Open nabky.com in your browser and choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app" in its menu – the map then runs full screen like an app. Works on Android and iPhone (Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen).

Can I use the map data elsewhere?

The data are collected by the Tesla Club Slovakia community and belong to the map: they are available for non-commercial use with attribution to Nabky.com and a link to the station page (licence CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Station pages carry structured data, the news is also available as RSS. Bulk download or commercial use (another map, app or service) is not allowed without an agreement – write to us. News RSS →

Where do I send feedback and ideas?

In the map thread on the teslaclub.sk forum, or directly to the user Juro. Every station also has its own forum thread – the link is on its page. Map forum →
